LOS ANGELES AIRPORT POLICE DISTRIBUTE HANDOUTS IN EFFORT TO KEEP TRAFFIC FLOWING THROUGH THE 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND

(Los Angeles, California – July 1, 2015) Los Angeles Airport Police have produced an informational handout with three options to keep traffic flowing through Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the nation's second busiest airport.
The colorful flyer has a map, directs travelers to optional short and long term parking structures as well as the LAX Cell Phone Waiting Lot. It provides directions for drivers along with important telephone numbers and tips.
The flyer was designed to educate the public, eliminate the guess work and help travelers to streamline their pick-up and drop off experience at LAX. Traffic enforcement officers working curbside will distribute the flyers to drivers and passengers throughout the weekend.
"Traffic in and around LAX will be heavy through the July 4th weekend. We are asking the traveling public to arrive early and to use this informational handout to help keep traffic moving" said Airport Police Chief Patrick Gannon.
The Los Angeles Airport Police Division is the Nation's premier aviation law enforcement agency with more than 1,100 specially trained police officers, security officers, and civilian staff protecting Los Angeles International, LA/Ontario International and Van Nuys airports.
