Public feedback on the Study was accepted from June 19, 2013 through November 7, 2013. The public feedback period is now closed. An appendix noting public feedback received will be posted on the Final Report & Materials page of this website in late 2013.

It is important to note that the Air Quality and Source Apportionment Study is focused solely on identifying and properly allocating airport-related and other sources of emissions affecting the neighborhoods around LAX. The AQSAS is not intended nor designed to be a health effects or epidemiology study; however, the results of the Study and its documented methodology may be used to guide the approach of future studies attempting to analyze health impacts in surrounding communities.
