LAX Terminal 1.5

LAX TERMINAL 1.5

The project proposes the construction of a new building located between Terminals 1 and 2. The new facility will ease congestion and provide connectivity between the two terminals – both within the ticketing and check in portion as well as post-security screening. LAX Terminal 1.5’s post-security airside pedestrian connection means passengers connecting between the two terminals will no longer have to leave the secure area of the concourse, exit the building, and go through security again to make a connection. LAX Terminal 1.5 plays an integral role in LAWA’s efforts to modernize the north terminals.
