Nothing is more exciting than watching Santa fly into LAX for a pre-holiday visit by helicopter to wish 300+ kindergartener’s “happy holidays” and read them “Twas the Night Before Christmas.” The event also includes entertainment, a craft activity, pet demonstrations by the LAX PUPS (Pets Unstressing Passengers) Program, and other surprises. At the end, each child will take away a memorable experience to share along with a holiday gift bag.
This annual holiday event is part of LAX’s community outreach and aviation education programs. It gives us an opportunity to introduce youths to the airport and inspire them to one day become pilots, aircraft engineers, or other aviation professionals.
